Service Engineer

Service & Small Works Engineer

Responsible for:

  • Reactive Maintenance for our valued customer base
  • Rectification of faults on – Fire Detection, Intruder Alarm, CCTV & Access Control systems
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance on – Fire Detection, Intruder Alarm, CCTV & Access Control systems.
  • Small Works Installation on – Fire Detection, Intruder Alarm, CCTV & Access Control systems
  • Updating On Site info using our in-house software and app
  • Creating relationships with our valued customers onsite personnel

We are looking to recruit, a hardworking, presentable, and dedicated Fire and Security Systems Service & Small Works Engineer to join and expand our existing engineering team.

The successful applicant will preferably have experience and knowledge of the fire and security industry including understanding of the installation process and comprehension of the British Standards that are required to ensure our installations comply to all current standards.

The role will involve working alongside the existing engineering team. The role will require overtime & on call working on a rota basis.

This role will enhance our customer service experience providing the fastest and most effective response and solutions to customer issues.

The successful applicant will be a personable, confident, and self-motivated person who enjoys meeting new people and building strong working relationships. Fluent in both verbal and written English.

A commercial vehicle will be supplied, along with a laptop, mobile phone and any specialist equipment required to carry out your duties. A full UK driving licence will be required.

The salary is negotiable and will be dependent upon experience, there will be targets to achieve. Meeting the needs of our strong and loyal existing customer database is as important as creating and developing new customer interactions.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Excellent in English (Verbal and Written) with strong communication skills.
  • Competent in IT
  • Ability to build relationships and understand clients individual requirements.
  • Flexibility with working hours to meet deadlines or work demands.
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Preferred:

  • 2 Years Industry Experience
  • Product Knowledge of – Advanced, C-Tec, Texecom, Orisec, HKC, Hikvision, Hanwha, Paxton, Suprema, CIE.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: per year negotiable on experience
